Power is the language of confidence. Wish I came up with that line, but I stole it from Sally Hogshead’s book, which inspired this entire post.
Power is synonymous with alpha, and we’ve been fascinated by it since the beginning of time. Powerful individuals are leaders and role models for a reason.
They have a plan. They move with purpose. They make decisions, for themselves and for others. They inspire action. They communicate with certainty and clarity. They speak with conviction. They lead without hesitation.
A powerful person has a strong point of view, one that reflects experience, belief, and direction.
Power is not a performance. It’s a presence. It’s visible in the way someone walks, talks, decides, and carries themselves.
If you want to cultivate more power, focus on developing these traits: Assertive. Goal-oriented. Decisive. Purposeful. Opinionated. Backed by courage, intelligence, work ethic, and conviction.
