Who Do You Want to Be When You Grow Up? Yes, You

I often say who I want to be when I grow up.
Mainly, I’m dreaming of being an actress—but lately, I’ve been toying with the idea of becoming the founder of Tequila and Bread Club. Don’t even ask. Lol.

And for a while, I wondered if that meant I was living in denial. Maybe it was a mild case of Peter Pan syndrome—thinking I still have all the time in the world, so there’s no real urgency to make any serious ‘grown-up’ decisions just yet.
But after some reflection—and a quick scan through a few of my more rational dreams—I’ve decided to reject that idea.
Because saying “when I grow up” isn’t a sign of immaturity. It’s ambition.
According to LinkedIn, 65% of professionals are considering a career change—not because they’re lost, but because they know there’s more. More purpose. More personal relevance.
We’re ambitious individuals. And as we go through life, we also grow through life—we evolve. Trends shift, technology moves faster than ever, and there’s very little that stays the same anymore.
So it would almost be silly not to dream of something more… or something next.
Dreaming—and actively working—on who we want to become next pushes us to develop new skills, expand our knowledge, build new connections, and ultimately become more interesting people.
It takes strength and courage to actually go after it.
Not sure who you want to be when you grow up? Drop me a line and we can brainstorm together.
